YES!!! We are so excited to start back up and see all of our wonderful clients again. :) Thank you for your support during this time. We want to take a minute to assure you that when you come for your massage treatment at Orthopedic Bodyworks you are in a clean environment. For your safety and peace of mind here is an outline of our new protocols:
We will be following the up to date recommendations of the CDC. Subject to change, but as of now, masks must be worn by clients and staff during every treatment even if you have not tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. We ask kindly if you bring your own. If you do not have your own, one will be provided for you and a $1 price will be added to your session fee.
If you have any symptoms of illness please stay home and reschedule your appointment. This has always been our policy.
Each room and equipment are disinfected before every client service following the safety and sanitation standards of the CDC and state board guidelines. This includes all surfaces that may be touched, door handles, counters, massage tables, face rests and accessories.
As always, linens are laundered in a private facility and washed according to CDC sanitation cycle instructions. Disposable face cradle covers are available upon request.
We use hospital grade disinfectant that is also on the CDC’s list of “approved disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2”.
Hand sanitizer and alcohol based, skin safe disinfecting wipes are available in every room for your use.
As we always have done, all staff will follow hand washing protocol before and after each session and after touching any sheets, bottles, or any other objects that may have possible contamination.
We have extended our turnaround times between each client so there will only be ONE client allowed in the reception area at a time. Unless handicap assistance is needed, no visitors will be allowed to accompany clients in the session room or wait in the front office.
All payments will be hands free, no signing necessary for credit card payments. If you need to make a check or cash payment or leave a cash tip there will be a drop box available. Please bring exact amount as cash money will not be handled by any staff during the day for any reason.
We will do everything possible and more to keep our clients and staff safe, healthy and comfortable in our environment. It may seem a little overwhelming, but please remember that these protocols are only temporary. We are so very much looking forward to seeing you again and helping you on your way to feeling better. Questions about our new protocols? Questions about any home self care during this time? Don’t hesitate to ask. We are here for you!
